Sharon is a fully qualified acupuncturist with a first class BSc (Hons) in Acupuncture. Having studied at the London College of Traditional Acupuncture, College of Chinese Medicine and completed her degree at University of East London in 2012.
She is a member of and insured with the British Acupuncture Council (BAcC) and is on the voluntary register accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
Prior to training as an acupuncturist, Sharon spent over 20 years working within the NHS with the majority of her career spent in senior nursing roles within critical care.
She is fully committed to the practice of acupuncture in all its forms and continuously works to develop herself professionally, so as to be able to provide the best possible care for her patients.
Her post-graduation training has included studying Master Tung Acupuncture and Balance Method Acupuncture with the renowned Dr Tan, which is particularly effective for helping with pain. Sharon is also able to offer Cosmetic Acupuncture in combination with the use of LED Light Therapy, which is highly effective and a safe approach to reduce the signs of aging and treat skin conditions such as acne and dermatitis.
A typical week in clinic will see her treating patients with musculoskeletal problems, pain management, headaches and migraine, allergies, fertility, pregnancy care support, digestive issues, menstrual problems including endometriosis and menopause.
